Resistance Wars
A different beast altogether from standard battles, resistance wars are started by individual citizens in order to return ownership of an occupied region to the original owner.
Resistance wars, like standard battles, play out as a tug of war. However, citizens are given the choice to fight for the resistance (the red button) or the occupying nation (the green button). It is VERY IMPORTANT you understand which side you are fighting for.
Another major difference between standard battles and resistance wars is the outcome. If the occupying nation successfully defends, the region stays under their control; if the resistance is successful, the nation returns immediately to the original owner, regardless of the initiating party.
You do not need to be in the region to fight in the resistance war, however you must be in the country that occupies the region to defend the resistance. Make sure you are in a region with a Q5 hospital to heal as you would after a standard battle.
Getting to the resistance war is the same as getting to a standard battle. Once again, make sure you understand which side you are fighting for. Resistance or "freedom" fighters fight with the RED button. Defenders fight to keep the region secure by using the GREEN button.
