Cheers for popping in, but there are in truth a million things we could talk about.
Some ministerial positions for one and the complete lack of direction.
The lack of a constitution, which I think should be the administrations first priority. It would seem as though no progress can be made until something had been drawn up.
The outlining of v2 and that the public beta testing is only around the corner should be a wake-up call for the gov. Each section of the game needs to be looked at and a plan needs to be drawn up.
The fact that a lot of our military strength is fighting for the country yet not being funded by the governement...
I could go on, but the complete ommition of EA from the ministries is what really sticks out in my mind.
Nice of you to stop by and all, but i'm not endeared

War- there are about 5 diffrent scenereos we are working on that will bring us real war. Most involve other ocuntries we are talking too. In the next 5 days we are hoping one will come into play.
Lack of direction in ministers- I talk with all reguarly and they are all working hard on what I have asked them too. I have wrote two articles in 4 days stating what they are doing.
Constitution- Not CP job, your job as a TD. Write one get it approved. Dail passes laws and the CP enacts them.
V2 could be around corner but it has been talked aobut as "around the corner " for 4 months. Might have a point on this one though.
Funding for militarty has been high. How do you think our gun stocks got depleted. We have been running slight deficit spending, what do you propose we stop spending on to increase militay spending or which tax are you going to propse to be raised?
Who Applied or asked for a minister postion in EA, there were 4 people appling for each job, that is why I had so many co ministers. Heli asked for ambasador and I said yes. I asked Wandering rain and he said no. Got to contact Desara to see if she wants a job in FA negotiating a treaty. Wandering rain asked if we could find a way for her to get more expierance and I said yes.

I can verify that I was indeed asked. I said no. I am more concerned with getting our own house in order and think that there are many better suited for that.
Yes, I want to see Des get more experience... but no one has come to me asking to get a minister position so I didn't not bother Moo. If someone is wanting to get their hands dirty, they need to say something.

Lack of direction in ministers- I talk with all reguarly and they are all working hard on what I have asked them too. I have wrote two articles in 4 days stating what they are doing. Moo you have been VP for 2 months and now CP for almost a week and we are no further to any real progression other than the odd good personal performance from the initiative of the minister alone. This is the lack of direction I'm talking about. No set goals, no way to judge real performance. We don't need reports on how the ministries are doing the exact same thing they've done for yonks. We need goals, ideas and then work. Constitution- Not CP job, your job as a TD. Write one get it approved. Dail passes laws and the CP enacts them. Are you kidding? You are supposed to be the leader of this country. The lack of a constitution comes up every single time a party or a even just a solitary person does not like how a debate/vote is going. This is one of the foremost problems with Ireland right now, it is nigh on impossible to get any legislation passed without time being wasted on this needless issue. There's no need to get into the political BS answers, you are the president of Ireland, of course it's your job and you're responsibility to make Irelands government as efficient as possible! Funding for militarty has been high. How do you think our gun stocks got depleted. We have been running slight deficit spending, what do you propose we stop spending on to increase militay spending or which tax are you going to propse to be raised? I was referring to the ICA when I said a large part of our military strength is fighting without government aid! One look at your cabinet and you don't need to be a brain surgeon to see why the people who are there are there! You have been VP for two terms and now CP, where has our country gone forward? Where has our new military strength come from? Where are all our new players boosting ready to take on our enemies? We are an aimless entity, who are relying on other countries to fight our battles and defend us. We have not improved our position at all in these last 2months+ and you must take a sizable amount of that blame.

Gotta say, I don't see that the aimlessness is at all Moo's blame. It is clearly a general malaise of the entire country.
Perhaps even that of the game. I am unsure.
We have not improved our position in the last 6 months.

Actually, we have improved our position by joining the Brolliance. There is potential there. But we are not using it.

Perhaps even that of the game. I am unsure. We have not improved our position in the last 6 months. Rian I just don't see how it could be the game, look at all the similarily sized countries in RL making a huge influence on the erep world! Our country is behind, not due to our gegraphical positioning or anything else out of our control. It is because of the way that it is being run and has been run for a long time. For the last 3 or so months, Moo has been in one of the 2 top positions in the Irish government. It must fall onto his plate... He is the guy who chooses and regulates the ministers which carry out the duties of the state. He is the guy who is supposed to lead us onto better things, to direct, inspire and delegate, but that has not happened.

Well, I have a theory.
I actually think that your statement "lead us onto better things, to direct, inspire and delegate" is the key. And this, in my opinion isn't a really a ding against Moo, but a ding against the whole country.
I think perhaps, Edana had the ability to "inspire". I think that Patton could have but didn't. I think that Moo (Who, to be very clear, I have the utmost respect for) is doing a decent job with those that already like him. Leadership is fricken hard. I am watching a complete breakdown of it on S5 in Travian right now. It is a dance that is so very complicated that most people can follow the steps and really, it's like juggling flaming monkeys sometimes.
And I think we are not being completely fair when we say nothing has moved. Bristel correctly points to the Brolliance and the Youtube recruitment video is a well thought out bit and there hae been other things.
I think a bit part of eIreland's problem is that we (as a whole) don't know what we want to be. We don't have someone standing at the wheel saying this is what we will be, follow me and we will get there and having the skill to get the whole screaming, ranting, pouting bag of us to get in line behind him.
And thanks for giving me a bit of energy to work with this morning. Let's keep this going and perhaps we will find some nugget of wisdom we can use!!
